Step 2: Authorize Flexport in TikTok Shop
- Once redirected to the TikTok Shop App Store, click Install on the Flexport app details page.
-
Service Settings:
- Duration of partner access: It is recommended to select Unlimited to avoid service interruptions.
- Contact Information: Enter your business email and phone number.
- Click Confirm to install.
- On the "Authorize" screen, review the permissions (this allows Flexport to sync orders and inventory). Select the checkbox to agree to the terms and click Authorize.
Step 3: Catalog and Inventory Sync
- After authorization, you will be redirected back to Flexport.
- The system will display a "Just a Sec! We're importing your catalog" message.
- Once the sync is complete, you will see a "You're All Set!" confirmation. Click Continue.
- Navigate to the Inventory tab in Flexport to verify that your TikTok Shop products (e.g., "Blue Jeans") are now appearing in your product list.
Step 4: Verify Order Flow
To ensure the integration is working correctly:
- Go to the Orders section in the left sidebar.
- Select Ecommerce Orders.
- You should see your TikTok Shop orders appearing with a status such as "Processing." You can click into any order to view specific details, including shipping status and delivery estimates.
Note: If your products do not appear immediately in the Inventory tab, wait a few minutes and refresh the page, as large catalogs may take extra time to sync.
FAQs
- I already have my TikTok Shop linked to Shopify. If I connect Flexport directly, will I get duplicate orders?"
- No, we have built-in safeguards to prevent this. Once you activate the direct TikTok integration, Flexport identifies the source of the order. We effectively filter out TikTok-originated orders coming through your Shopify sync and prioritize the direct TikTok feed.
- Can I continue to sync my products from Shopify to TikTok while integrated directly with Flexport?
- Absolutely. You can maintain a 'hybrid' setup. You are welcome to continue using the TikTok App on Shopify for tasks—like syncing your product catalog, managing TikTok Shop listings, and running ads. Flexport’s direct integration then takes over the 'heavy lifting' of order ingestion and real-time inventory syncing.
