Summary
We made the following improvements to the “Inventory Details - Reserve Storage” report available on Seller Portal:
- This report provides total units physically present in the facilities and,
- Includes any pending orders
- Shows inventory unavailable for sale, ie., unavailable states (expired, damaged etc.) and Ops work in progress quantity (Receiving)
- Introduced Unavailable for Sale Qty and Ops WIP Qty
- Provides historical data, you can select any historical date (from 1st Sep 2025) and download the end of day report
How To Use The Report
This report provides inventory details by SKU at each Flexport Reserve storage facility for a given date.
Column Name | Description |
Snapshot Date | Date with Time & time zone in UTC |
DSKU | Unique product identifier maintained by Flexport |
MSKU | Merchant product Identifier |
Product Name | Product Name |
Facility | Flexport code for facility location. Also shows In Transit, DTC unallocated & RS Scheduled orders as separately where applicable |
Facility Location | City & state of warehouse facility |
Barcodes | All barcodes tagged to the Parent SKU |
LOT Number | Lot number tied to the inventory. This number is provided by the merchant and validated (or captured) during receiving. |
Expiration Date | Expiration date for the inventory |
LPN | The pallet identification where the SKU is stored |
Units in Pack/Boxes | Applicable for Reserve Storage Facilities. Shows Units in a pack/box/case |
# of Packs/Boxes | Applicable for Reserve Storage Facilities. Shows total Packs/Boxes/Cases |
Total Quantity | Total Units in all cases |
Unavailable State Quantity | Units in different quarantine states like On Hold, Damaged, Expired etc that cannot be used for selling in a warehouse |
Ops WIP Qty | Units worked upon by warehouses e.g., receives and any units in non-pickable locations |
Age | Age of the inventory in days at LPN in the warehouse |
First Available At | The date when the SKU in the LPN was made available for the first time |
FAQs
Why don't the totals in Legacy reports or in the portal match with this report?
Totals in legacy reports did not include pending orders, units in unavailable states or Ops work in progress quantity. So, the totals in new reports will vary.
The report shows fewer total units than what I expect, how should I go about it?
Any non-compliance or inbounding units are not part of Totals. It shows units physically verified and added to the sellable/available inventory at site.
