The Flexport Portal now allows sellers to hide DSKUs from view. As it is not possible to delete a DSKU, hiding them from view allows you to have a cleaner view of products within the Flexport Portal.
Possible reasons for wanting to hide your DSKUs from view include:
- A product imported from your listing tool that you do not plan on using Flexport to fulfill
- A duplicated product that was imported to your Flexport Portal, but is inactive
Marking a SKU as Hidden
On the individual item page in your Flexport Portal, you will notice a "hide product" button towards the top of the screen.
How to View Hidden SKUs
On the Inventory page, you can toggle between "Active" and "Hidden" SKUs. If you need to "unhide" a product, you can always go back to the product page and select "Unhide Product".
How to Unhide a SKU
In the same way that you marked an item as hidden, you can "unhide" the product. First, go to the Inventory page and toggle the view so that you are viewing your hidden products (see above). Click on the SKU that you want to unhide. On the top right of the Item page, you will see a button marked "Unhide Product".
Important Things to Note
This is purely a cosmetic change for your inventory page. Active orders with these SKUs will still be processed. In order to stop receiving orders for products, unlink any associated channel aliases.
This will not affect any existing physical inventory. Any "hidden" SKUs that have physical inventory within our warehouse network will continue to be stored within our facilities and will continue to accrue storage fees. If you wish to remove this inventory, you can learn more on how to start a removal in our Help Center article.
Should you discover that you have a duplicate SKU that you have not created — one that begins with the name of a channel integration in capital letters and has no inventory (see example below), then this Hide SKU feature should not be used.
Instead, simply link the associated channel alias to the original SKU (the SKU that has inventory and doesn't have the channel integration in the title). Taking this step will ensure that the duplicate SKU (the one you did not create) will disappear.
