This article explains how to request an appointment with the warehouse when inbounding your inventory to reserve storage facilities.
Once you've confirmed your inbound shipping plan to reserve storage and your shipment is ready to be shipped, you can request for delivery appointment on behalf of your carrier from Flexport Portal.
Steps

Visit the inbound details page of the respective shipping plan.

Scroll down to Request a delivery appointment.

Enter your carrier's email address.

Click on Notify your carrier.

An email will be initiated requesting an appointment with your Carrier and you.

Either you or your carrier will be required to follow the steps outlined in the appointment email to schedule via our warehouse scheduling platform. Additional Details on gaining access and scheduling via the scheduling platform can be found HERE.
Please note: All floor loaded containers will be scheduled as “Drop” appointments with a 96 hour SLA.
