What is Non-Compliance?
Non-compliance occurs when products that are sent into our partner fulfillment centers end up not being packaged or labeled correctly, or products that fall under our restricted items list. Non-compliant SKUs require corrective action from Flexport and the fulfillment center before receiving and making the products available for sale.
The following are non-compliance issue categories:
- Unexpected SKU: Products that were not indicated on the inbound shipping plan (PO) upon creation. You will be able to see the product & quantities that were unexpected but received.
- Unexpected packing configuration: Case pack quantity for the product received is different than indicated on the inbound shipping plan upon creation. Eg: SKU was indicated to arrived in case pack quantity of 10 but the actual shipment had SKU with case pack quantity of 12. This change may impact the number of cases or quantities received for a product.
- Restricted Products: Products that Flexport does not allow into our network. You can read more about restricted products here.
Where can I see details of these non-compliances? You will be able to see the details of these non-compliances in problems page and respective inbound details page.
Will I be charged any fees for these non-compliances? Currently, you will not be charge any fees for non-compliances. However, a few may be charged in future with a prior communication.
