As part of a unified login system across all Flexport services, we are migrating all Seller Portal merchant logins to the Flexport native login system.
Note: If you currently have access to the Flexport Forwarding App, you can already access the Seller Portal using Login with Flexport — no extra steps needed. See: How to Log In to the Seller Portal Using Your Flexport Forwarding Account.
Users who have Seller Portal access but do not have a Flexport Forwarding account will need to follow the steps below.
Step 1: Accept your email invite
Flexport will send an email invite for the native login to your account.
Step 2: Set your password
Click the Register now button in the email and set your password.
Step 3: Log in to the Seller Portal
Log in using the email and password you just created. For future logins, see: How to Log In to the Seller Portal Using Your Flexport Forwarding Account.
Step 4: Complete onboarding in the Flexport Client App
After logging in, the Flexport Client App will open. If you are not a freight customer, onboarding tasks will be displayed.
Note: This is a one-time task that only needs to be completed by one Admin user per merchant account.
Log in to the Flexport Forwarding App and click View Tasks.
If you plan to use the full suite of Flexport services (freight, customs, fulfillment, etc.), complete all tasks. If you only use fulfillment services, you may skip:
- Customs
- Suppliers and Locations
- Insurance
- Sustainability
You must complete the following:
- Entity Profile
- Payment Method
FAQs
How will this benefit me?
If you use both fulfillment and freight forwarding from Flexport, this is the first step to unify all your data.
Do all users need to complete the account setup task?
No — only one Admin user per merchant account needs to complete it.
Will this incur any additional charges?
No, there will be no additional charges on billing.
Will existing users be logged out or lose account access?
No. Existing users will not be logged out and their account data and ongoing activities will not be affected.
Will new merchants go through this process?
No. New merchants already use the native Flexport login, as direct sign-ups to the Seller Portal were discontinued on March 2, 2026.
Will I need to re-set up MFA?
Users who have set up MFA may need to re-configure it as part of the migration to the native Flexport login.
