Overview
You can now manually link or unlink a DSKU (Flexport SKU) from an active integration from within the Flexport Portal. Most of the time this is not necessary, since creating and linking DSKUs is done automatically for you when you connect a new integration or when you click 'Sync Catalog' in Flexport Portal. However, adding or removing links may be necessary for certain use cases:
Use Case |
Explanation |
Fix issues about orders not in Flexport because the product listing was linked to the wrong DSKU. |

Connect multiple listings to one DSKU |
You may have multiple product listings (each with different descriptions, or one listing just for a seasonal sale, etc) but in the end they are fulfilled by the same physical item (the same DSKU). |
Disable one DSKU but leave the rest as normal |
You may wish to not use Flexport to fulfill a certain product & integration combination, but you do not want to disconnect the integration entirely. Removing a link will disables order import and inventory level updates for just this product and integration combination. |
Add a New Link
Go to Flexport Portal Inventory Page and find the DSKU that you want to update. Click on the DSKU to open the inventory details page.
Click the integration that you wish to add a new link for.
Search for the product listing that you wish to connect to this particular DSKU. You can search based on three different criteria:
The SKU value from the integration |
The SKU value that you manually set on the integration to identify a product. |
The name of the product |
Easiest to type in and remember, but may lead to many different matches. |
The product ID from the integration |
What uniquely identifies the product/listing in the integration. Depends on each integration. |
Confirm that you want to link this this DSKU to this product ID in the integration. Creating a link means that Flexport will import orders and update inventory levels for this listing and DSKU combination.
Once confirmed, you should see the new link on the inventory details page. If the integration already had a link, you should see the number go up (2 in the example below). If the integration didn't have a link (0 or grey in example below), then the number should increment to 1.
Remove an Existing Link
Follow the same steps above to open the inventory details page for a specific DSKU, and then click the integration you want to modify.
Hit 'X' next to the link that you want to remove. Confirm that you want to remove this link — this means that Flexport will not import orders and will not update inventory levels for this combination of listing and DSKU.
