Because the Walmart Fast Tags program requires 2 or 3-Day coverage to the contiguous U.S., only products that are "network-optimized" will be eligible for the program.
A "network-optimized" product is defined as those being stored at 3-4 Flexport fulfillment centers.
Eligible products will show a "Shipping" badge that includes a delivery date that is 2-3 business days after shipping, excluding weekends. Below is an example of what you can expect the Fast Tags badge to look like.
When you send a new inbound shipment, Flexport will tell you where to allocate your inventory so that it is network-optimized.
We strive to make fast shipping available for as many users as possible. However, the following factors will influence who will see the fast shipping methods:
Inventory: If you have inventory in 3-4 fulfillment centers, the Fast Tag will be shown to more shoppers (those in the regions closest to the fulfillment centers with available inventory). In order to maximize Fast Tag coverage, please ensure that inventory is available in the fulfillment centers recommended to you when you create an inbound.
Inventory Levels: When a product is close to stockout and is in less than 3 warehouses, the Fast Tag may be removed from the listing. Please routinely check your inventory levels and replenish SKUs as needed.
Day of the Week: There are certain days when the 2-Day Fast Tag may not show due to backlogged shipments from orders placed over the weekend.
Weather Conditions: If there are severe weather conditions the 2-Day Fast Tag will not be displayed to customers having orders delivered to the weather impacted states.
