Currently, Flexport does not allow the following types of products in our network.
If products in violation of these guidelines are submitted to the Flexport network they will be returned or disposed of at the cost to the Merchant. Flexport is not responsible for any costs or losses incurred related to these products. Products that cannot be safely returned will be destroyed.
- We can accept products that meet certain hazmat exemptions, which can include but are not limited to:
- Products with lithium batteries packed with or contained in equipment. Please review our help center on Inbounding Battery Products.
- Dry batteries (Alkaline AA/AAA household batteries)
- UN3082 or UN3077 where each unit does not exceed a net volume of 1L/1Kg for PGII and 5L/5kg for PGIII
- UN2037 Division 2.2 (small gas cartridges) with a capacity not exceeding 50mL each
- Refrigerating machines containing compressed gasses
- Magnetized materials
- Hazardous commodities meeting the De Minimis rule (each unit contains no more than 1mL/1g of net hazardous material

The net liquid contents of all sellable units in any single outer packaging may not exceed 5.6 liters (1.5 gallons). The net solid contents of all sellable units in any single outer packaging may not exceed 15 kilograms (33 pounds). The gross weight of any single outer package (master carton) shipped may not exceed 30 kilograms (66 pounds); Inner sellable units must be secured and cushioned within the outer package to prevent breakage, leakage, and shifting. |

- Products with legal restrictions or prohibited by law in the place of origin, the destination, or any sites through which the products may travel
- Any products that require special labeling or handling, which Flexport cannot provide, including sterilized location and upright/directional storage control
- Products that have been illegally replicated, reproduced, or manufactured
- Products that require any additional preparation before shipping or storing

- Products requiring specific licenses to store or distribute including:
- Live plants and animals

- Alcoholic beverages
- Ammunition & Firearms (Including BB and airsoft guns)
- Tobacco
- Prescription pharmaceuticals and pseudo pharmaceuticals
- Products intended for military use only
- Unique or one-of-a-kind materials
- Precious metals (gold, silver, etc.)
- Live plants and animals
- CBD Products
- High-value products, or restricted monetary equivalents, including:
- Cash equivalents, gift cards, gift certificates
- Products with a replacement value exceeding $300 (Flexport product reimbursement policy)
- Cash equivalents, gift cards, gift certificates
- Non-conveyable products, or products that violate Flexport's dimensional/weight requirements
- Defective and/or damaged products
- Adult, "Adult use only," adult-oriented, or adult-themed products are restricted unless it meets the discreet packaging requirements below, except for the name of the product on the barcode: Discreet packaging should be opaque with no visibility to the product.
If transparent packaging, the item must not have any explicit sexual images or words. - Posters or flyers which require rolling or packaging to prevent crushing
- Products or product packaging that deteriorate or get damaged during the handling in the warehouse or transportation or during extended storage or after being dropped and vigorously shook
- e.g. Sacks of flour/sugar/food that is in paper wrapping
- Products that Flexport otherwise determines as unsuitable
Reserve Storage restricted products include the above product categories including the following:
- Pesticides
- Lubricating Oils, Chemicals, Fuels
- ALL Flammable Liquids
- Tires
We reserve the right to deny removal requests for and destroy any inventory identified as counterfeit.
