Bundling is a common eCommerce practice of offering multiple product SKUs or quantities as one product listing. When items are bundled and priced appropriately with discounts, it can help your customers to add related items to the cart instantly, increase your average order value and could also help you to move inventory of the less popular items (e.g. by bundling them with the popular ones).
Notes:
- Bundling is not Kitting. This article is about a virtual representation of your bundle product listing inside Flexports portal. One order of your bundle listing will be represented like a multi-item or multi-quantity order inside Flexport
- If the SKUs inside the bundle were packaged and inbounded separately, depending on the fulfillment centers they were stored, your customer might receive them in separate packages
- Selling your products as virtual bundles does not change how your Flexport costs are calculated. For more information, please visit this article.
The following articles cover how to set up and connect your bundle listings from within Flexports portal.
These articles assume that you already connected your eCommerce system with Flexport to import your product catalog. For more information on connecting specific channel integrations (e.g. Shopify), please visit the following article.
