What is this feature?
For all of your connected integrations, Flexport regularly and automatically asks if there any unfulfilled orders assigned to Flexport. We then attempt to import and fulfill those orders on your (the merchant's) behalf for your customers.
Sometimes orders may not import into Flexport. If you do not see an order in Flexport Portal then you can now see why it was not imported into Flexport. Then if appropriate, you can fix the root cause and reimport.
Note that some non-imported orders may still not appear here. For example, orders that were assigned to other nodes/locations or orders that were already marked as complete/fulfilled are not seen by Flexport at all, so these orders do not appear in our system.
View Orders That Did Not Import
Open your integration's web portal. Find the orderID in there and copy it.
Open Flexport Portal and navigate to your orders page. Paste the orderID into the search tab. If Flexport saw the order but did not import it, it will appear along with a quick explanation.
Reasons why an order may not import include:
Reason |
Description |
DSKU (Flexport SKU) Never Inbounded |
An item on this order linked to a DSKU with zero inventory. Flexport has never received an inbound for this DSKU. |
Item Not Linked To DSKU (Flexport SKU) |
An item on this order does not have a link to a DSKU in Flexport. |
Unverified Dimensions |
An item on this order does not have dimensions verified by one of our fulfillment centers, so we cannot calculate a fulfillment fee. |
Incomplete or Invalid Address |
This order has an incomplete address or has an address with an invalid country code. |
If you don't see your order here, read the help article Why don't I see my order in Flexport?. Usually this means there is a problem on the integration's side, so Flexport did not even see the order in the first place.
Reimport the Order if Appropriate
If you want Flexport to import and fulfill this order, then click 'Fix'. Follow the instructions to fix the root cause of why the order did not import. After you fix the root cause, return here and attempt to reimport the order.
The most common reason why Flexport does not import an order is DSKU (Flexport SKU) Never Inbounded because of SKU-alias mismatches. Mismatches happen when you connect a new integration and the new catalog did not fully sync with your existing catalog, so we created and linked to a new DSKU (Flexport SKU) instead. Read the article Check and Fix SKU Mismatches for more details on this particular issue.
