Normal Fulfillment with eBay
When you have inbounded a set of items (DSKUs), please only use Flexport to fulfill those items. Once Flexport has fully received inventory for those DSKUs and verified the dimensions and weight for those DSKUs, then we will 'take over' the listing on all connected marketplaces. This means Flexport will accept all orders for that listing, and will also regularly update the inventory levels for all integrations linked to that DSKU.
Please do not manually adjust inventory levels on the marketplace directly, as Flexport will automatically update inventory levels for you. Manual adjustments can cause order ingestion problems, stock outs, and cancelled orders.
Flexport will ignore (not ingest) any orders for items that have never been inbounded.
What if I received a canceled order?
If an order is accidentally imported and canceled that does not have any effect on the order status at eBay. If you will be fulfilling that order separately, the cancellation can be safely ignored.
For existing SKUs pending replenishment
If you have an existing SKU pending replenishment, unlink your eBay connection for that particular DSKU by following the steps outlined here. This will prevent eBay orders from ingesting for that SKU until new inventory has been received, and is then available for order fulfillment.
Self-Fulfillment with eBay
If you wish to self-fulfill orders with eBay, we highly recommend that you create separate listings (one for self-fulfillment, one for Flexport) and publish/unpublish as needed. This will allow for you to self-fulfill without Flexport overriding any inventory quantities.
Remove Local Pickup as an Option
Local pickup should not be enabled for any listings that you plan to fulfill. When you create your listing go to Shipping Options and make the sure to uncheck the Offer Local Pickup checkbox. Learn more about local pickup in eBay Help Center.
