If you believe that a destination address on your customer’s order was incorrectly marked “invalid”, you can “skip validation” for the address to override the error and continue with order processing.
- To start, open the order marked with an invalid address. Then click on “Update or Confirm Address”. If the address entered was indeed incorrect, you can update the address and click Save and the order will be re-processed with the new address.
- If you believe the address entered by the customer is correct as is, click “Confirm address to skip validation”. Clicking this option will also make the option to add this address to your list of Accepted Addresses appear. You can also check this box to ensure that the address is accepted in the future as well.
NOTE: Please ensure that you validate this address with your customer before skipping validation. Otherwise, your customer’s order may be lost.
- Click “Update” to save the address. You will see a “success” toast to let you know this address has been added to your list of Accepted Addresses and the order will continue processing.
- Your list of Accepted Addresses can be viewed at any time under “Settings”.
