|Your shipment is missing an important customs related document. Cargo movement will cease until the required document(s) is uploaded.
Upon further review, the U.S. CBP (Customs Border & Protection) has placed a hold on your shipment. CBP may decide to inspect the cargo or simply request submission of additional information (e.g. commercial invoices, packing lists, and/or various certificates). The hold is then either released or escalated to one or more types of exams.
An FDA hold is a type of customs hold and can be placed on a shipment after an initial review by the FDA leads to the need for a more in depth examination. Once an FDA hold is placed on a shipment the FDA may either proceed to review and release, request additional information, inspect the cargo, or detain the goods if they are found to not meet appropriate standards.

|Undergoing Customs X-Ray Exam
If U.S. CBP selects your container for an X-ray exam, the container will be driven through an X-ray machine at the ocean terminal. A customs officer will review the X-ray images and either release the container, or escalate it to either a Tail Gate exam or an Intensive exam.
|The fulfillment center has begun receiving your shipment. There may be some delay between when an item is Received to when it is Available for Sale.
|Cargo In Closed Area
There are cases where containers are in a closed area and cannot be recovered for an unknown period of time. Your cargo cannot be picked up from its current location because it is in a closed area of the port/terminal.
