If you disconnect the Walmart direct integration, such as to use a listing tool to fulfill your Walmart orders, we strongly recommend you perform a few clean-up tasks. This will ensure that your orders process correctly when you make the transition.
Step 1: Zero out inventory in the "Partner" Location
Create a bulk inventory update feed to zero out the location. For instructions on how to create and submit a feed, please see, How Do I Send a Bulk Inventory Update for Walmart? For this situation, you will:
- In the spreadsheet template Walmart provides, enter 0 in the “'New Quantity”' column for all SKUs
- When you upload the file to your Walmart Seller Center account, select the "Partner" location
Read more in the Walmart Seller Help Center about how to update your inventory on Walmart.com.
Note: Do not deactivate the location at this point, as you still want to be able to see pending orders in the next step.
Step 2: Fulfill pending orders in the "Partner" Location
Check to see if there are any pending orders in the location and handle them appropriately.
In your Walmart Seller Center, go to the Order Management dashboard and select ‘Orders.’
Select the “Partner" location.
This will filter to only show orders currently assigned.
If you see 0 in the Past Due Orders, Orders Due Today, and New Orders section, no more action necessary.
If there are pending orders in one of these categories, you will have to manually fulfill these orders yourself. Click on ‘View Orders’ for that category to see the orders.
Step 3: Disable the MP_Deliverr warehouse location
In your Walmart Seller Center, go to ‘Settings,’ then ‘ ‘Seller Fulfillment.’ Click ‘Fulfillment Centers.’ Next to MP_Deliverr, select the pencil icon to edit and uncheck the box to disable the location, then click ‘Submit.’
