Prep Services

Flexport offers various prep services for your products once they arrive. These prep services can apply to your individual units, boxes, or entire shipment. For pricing information, please visit the Prep Pricing and Billing article.

We have five Unit Prep solutions, some of which include multiple services:

Service	Description
Labeling (SKU labeling)	SKU labeling refers to labeling individual sellable unit(s)
Bagging Protection	Bagging protection includes: Putting a single unit into a polybag and sealing Unit barcoding on the outside of the bag
Damage Protection	Damage protection includes: Either bubble wrapping or placing the item in a bubble mailer, a protective envelope, for protection Unit barcoding on the outside of the protection Items will be prepped to pass a drop test to prevent damages

We have two Carton / Box Prep solutions:

Labeling (Carton - Box Contents Label)

Labeling boxes, such as Box Contents Labels (for Flexport Ecom), refers to labeling Carton(s)

Carton Building - Merchant or Flexport provided boxes

Building a carton for a single SKU or Master case. Cartons can range in size from Small to XL.

- 10x8x4
- 12x8x5
Medium carton dimensions:
- 18x12x13
- 18x14x14
- 18x10x6
- 15x12x8
- 18x14x8
- 26x20x4
Large carton dimensions:
- 21x13x13
- 36x24x6
- 26x18x12
- 40x18x8
XLarge carton dimensions:
- 40x30x15

We have four Shipment Prep solutions:

Floor Loaded Containers 40’ Container	Unloading a floor-loaded container Floor-loaded containers must be left on site for two business days as live unloads are not available.
Floor Loaded Containers 20’ Container	Unloading a floor-loaded container Floor-loaded containers must be left on site for two business days as live unloads are not available.
Value Added Service for Prep	Hours worked associated with a Prep job that falls outside of the categories listed above
