When receiving your inventory, Flexport will identify problems with your inbounds, such as labelling errors, and notify you. We want to help you prevent these problems in the future, and ensure you have all the right resources to create compliant inbounds.
We recognize that mistakes happen, but when there are repeated issues and patterns with non-compliant inbounds, they require improvement and correction. In these situations, we provide coaching to help you fix the problem and avoid consequences, such as fees and the potential suspension of your inbounds for certain products.
Performance Coaching Levels
Flexport has three performance coaching levels. These levels define the severity of the non-compliance fees you will be charged, and the amount of coaching Flexport will provide. We measure your non-compliance rate over the past 4 months and assign a performance coaching level based on your offence history. This performance coaching level (Standard, Repeat and Critical) is determined by by this rate. If it rate exceeds the acceptable rate for a level, then you will be bumped up to the next level. This is based on the performance of all Flexport sellers and is updated regularly.

Optional Flexport will ask for a plan of action to correct non-compliant behaviour. |
Required Flexport will require a plan of action to correct non-compliant behaviour. Flexport has the right to suspend your inbounds. |
Returning to a Standard Performance Coaching Level
If your non-compliance rate stays below the acceptable rate for 4 months, from the date of escalation to either Repeat or Critical, then your level will be lowered back to Standard (or Repeat). This only applies if you have inbounded in the 4 month period.
