Prep Pricing and Billing

All prices include the following services:

  • Receipt and outbounding of all product
  • Product handling, with a guarantee of no non-compliance at downstream destinations. Prep will reimburse any non-compliance fees charged as a result of Prep. 
  • Billing and invoicing

You can select the services you would like and the quote will update on screen while creating your shipping plan. This is an estimated quote and you will be billed after Prep is complete once your unit counts are confirmed.

  • Unloading a floor-loaded container

*Note for removals from another 3PL (such as FBA, Shipbob, Shiphero) our Support Team will not investigate discrepancies as it is understood the inbound shipment to prep products and quantities are unknown. We will investigate if there is are discrepancies from our Crossdock to our fulfillment centers in the case full boxes were lost in in forwarding transit.

Kitting

Kitting pricing is based on the number of components in the kit and any additional services requested. If the services you need are not included in the table below, you can request a custom quote based on a time study. Prep kitting follows a custom request process. Amazon (FBA) Prep

Prep services prepare shipments to meet Amazon's Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) inbounding requirements. FBA unit prep services include inspection, Amazon-approved poly bagging, applying FNSKUs, and applying box and pallet labels correctly.

Prep Billing and Invoicing

You will see Prep fees on your invoices in Seller Portal once the Prep service is completed. For each charge, you will see the associated Flexport Prep ID, the service completed, and the total amount.

When should I see my Prep charges?

Once the Prep service is completed, the charges should appear on your next invoice. It is possible to receive charges for one Prep job with services across multiple invoices, but each job will be billed within a 1 month period.
